Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms govern your use of MeetCue, operated by Penecho Inc. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
MeetCue transcribes meetings you choose to capture, builds a live discussion map, suggests what you might say, connects discussions with your files and writes minutes. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Check important facts, figures and commitments before relying on them. MeetCue does not provide legal, financial or other professional advice.
AI output and your responsibility to verify
AI-generated output, including suggestions (Suggest), discussion maps (Map), transcripts and minutes, is provided for reference only. Models may misunderstand conversations or files, misattribute statements, omit context, or produce incorrect or fabricated facts, quotations, citations and sources (often called “hallucinations”), even when the output appears confident or includes a reference. A citation or source link does not guarantee that the source exists or supports the output. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of AI output.
You are responsible for independently checking AI output against the original recordings, documents and reliable sources before relying on it, sharing it or making decisions. Verify facts, figures, quotations, citations, speaker attributions and any apparent decisions or commitments. Suggestions and maps do not by themselves establish what a participant said, agreed to or promised.
Your account
Sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and must be at least 16 years old. You can delete your account in the app.
Recording and consent
You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to recording, transcribing and processing your conversations, including informing participants and obtaining consent where required. Do not capture conversations you are not permitted to record.
Your content
You keep the rights to your files, recordings, transcripts and minutes. Your content is sent to MeetCue’s cloud servers for processing and analysis. Our cloud service calls speech recognition APIs and third-party large language model APIs, sharing the content needed for transcription, analysis, suggestions and summaries. You permit us to host and process content only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to upload your files. We do not use any user data to train or fine-tune AI models.
Acceptable use
Do not break the law, infringe others’ rights, harass anyone, access other accounts or our systems without authorization, resell the service or interfere with its operation.
Credits, plans and storage
- Free trial: an eligible new Apple or Google account receives 250 promotional credits once, expiring 30 days after the trial starts. Trials started before 14 October 2026 retain their original offer: 100 credits and 150 more after a qualifying first meeting within the original 30 days and before a paid subscription. Free accounts have 100 MB of storage. The trial is once per eligible account and verified identity; reinstalling, switching devices, deleting and recreating an account or ending a subscription does not restart it. Granted trial credits keep their original expiry after subscribing. We may hold or decline repeated claims, and pause or limit the offer.
- Suggestion rewards: if we adopt feedback, we may grant 500 promotional credits once for that suggestion, at our discretion. With an active subscription they expire with that month’s plan credits; otherwise they expire 30 days after the grant.
- Monthly subscriptions: Starter, Plus, Pro and Max are offered for new purchases through the App Store or Google Play where available. They renew monthly until cancelled in your store account settings; cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid renewal. Each plan includes storage and one credit allowance per verified monthly billing period. Unused monthly credits expire at the end of that period and do not roll over. The store shows the actual local price before purchase. Meeting-hour estimates are not guaranteed time allowances.
- Previously purchased annual subscriptions retain their verified paid terms, monthly credit schedule, renewal, restoration and refund support. They are not converted to monthly billing, and a full year’s credits are not issued upfront. Annual plans are not offered for new purchases.
- We sell subscriptions only, not credit packs. Previously issued credits retain their original balance and expiry.
- Listening uses 2.5 credits per minute of speech and 0.5 per minute of quiet while actively listening. Paused listening is not charged. AI and file processing use the rates shown in the app. All your devices share one balance and storage allowance. Only one meeting per account can actively listen at a time; you can keep multiple unfinished meetings and pause one to switch to another.
- When credits are insufficient, transcription and analysis stop. Recording can continue without transcription or analysis charges while storage is available; if recording cannot be saved either, listening pauses. When credits become sufficient, new audio can be transcribed again. To transcribe a recording-only interval, use the app’s reprocessing feature, which uses credits. Saved content remains available to read, export and delete, subject to the availability of device-only copies. Credits cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Apple or Google handle refunds under their policies. Refunding a purchase removes its unused credits.
- When your subscription access ends, including any verified store grace period, your cloud content becomes read-only and is retained for 60 days. Turning off automatic renewal does not start this period while paid access continues. You can view, export or delete saved content during retention, and restoring subscription access before deletion cancels the pending cleanup. After 60 days, we begin permanently deleting cloud files, recordings, transcripts, minutes, maps, private notes and project content. Resubscribing after deletion does not restore deleted content. This applies even within the free storage allowance; accounts that have never subscribed are outside this subscription-expiry rule. For accounts whose access ended before this policy takes effect, the 60 days start when it takes effect for the account. The retention deadline is available in the app. You are responsible for exporting content before that deadline; deletion does not depend on delivery or receipt of an email or other reminder. Cloud cleanup does not delete your account or remotely erase device-only or exported copies. Backup and legally required record retention are described in the Privacy Policy.
Device-only recordings
On supported devices, you can move a finished recording to that device and remove the active cloud copy, freeing cloud storage. Minutes and transcripts remain in your account. Device-only recordings are available on the device holding them. Uninstalling the app, clearing its data or losing the device can permanently lose the recording. Restoring it to the cloud is required to continue the meeting or transcribe it again and uses cloud storage. Ordinary sign-out keeps device recordings. Account deletion removes app-managed copies on the device where you delete the account; copies on other devices or exported elsewhere require separate removal. See the Privacy Policy for deletion and backup details.
Availability and changes
We work to keep MeetCue available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change or be discontinued. If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export minutes and transcripts. Updated terms are published here with their date. Where applicable law requires advance notice or consent for a material change, we will provide it through the app or another appropriate contact channel before that change applies.
Termination
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or put the service or others at risk. You may stop using MeetCue and delete your account. Account deletion does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel through Apple or Google Play to stop future billing; store refund rights still apply.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for errors, omissions or hallucinations in AI output, including Suggest and Map, or for loss or damage resulting from your use of or reliance on that output. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. To the extent permitted by law, MeetCue is provided “as is”, and our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits consumer-protection rights that cannot be waived.
